Product Description

The Black Diamond Magnetron Gridlock is much like the normal BD gridlock in that it has a sector which traps your belay loop to prevent any cross loading, but it is wildly different in the way that it opens and locks shut. The innovative Magnetron system requires you to depress two magnetic arms (one either side of the gate to prevent accidental opening) at the same time to open it. When you let the gate shut again the magnetic arms pull in a steel insert to lock the gate shut. Very impressive bit of auto-lock technology which is very addictive to play with.
