Beal rope gives superb handling and good abrasion resistance which makes for easy rigging and packing, remaining supple after prolonged use, especially 9.5 Spelenium Gold.
Mammut is a similar specification to Beal, but it is a little stiffer and so not as easy to rig or pack away, however it is very abrasion resistant and good value for the money. Type A: (standard) generally 10, 10.5 or 11mm for general use. Type B: (lightweight) for specialist applications and situations where weight saving is required. Type A ropes are recommended for general caving/SRT use.
