Nick Pot

The rope lengths stated in the CNCC Rigging guide for Nick Pot May not be correct (if I use the guides I normally find I have rope to spare). CNCC guide states a 25m rope for The Traverse in the Gods and an 80m rope for the big pitch. I recently used a 12m rope together with a 100m rope so I should have had 7m to spare. I was a good 4m short of the bottom of the pitch, a very exiting climb down!
At present (21st October 2007) there are deviation cords present on Thornber's entrance and a fixed rope on the traverse of the gods.
Suggested rigging guide;

Thornber's - 35m rope 4 MR's plus 2 slings
The Traverse in the Gods - 25m rope (should be more than adequate) 7MR's plus sling
Big pitch - 90m rope (85m rope might just do it) 6MR's
